HTML5 logo
Happy Canada Day! Do you like the Canadian HTML5 logo?

Here’s a reminder that for this week you are working on converting the outline you created last Wednesday into an HTML5 compliant web page. You want to have that up on the UBC Server before class tomorrow.  Here’s the full notes about the assignment.  See you tomorrow!

Assignment

To be completed before July 2, 2013

Complete the lab work

Finish the page with outline that you started in the lab session.

Add more Semantic Elements

Add any of these elements if you haven’t already used them not in this order

  • <article>
  • <aside>
  • <footer>
  • <header>
  • <h1>, <h2>, <h3>
  • <nav>
  • <section>

The content can be very brief.

Test the page using an online html5 outline tool like: html5 outliner Note: If you are using our standard footer.js you already have a link to the outliner in the footer of your document.
