Understanding the basics in regards to the main syntaxes for embedding data within HTML pages was the most valuable content for me of this session. Using these methods can help search engines link webpages’ content to subjects. I will try to use one of them as part of the assignment.

    – Wow! I thought the class was packed with good stuff. I think the most valuable thing I learned was how to use Modernizr and what polyfills are.

What did you learn from that?
-I learned that we can load Modernizr to detect whether an element is functioning properly. If it isn’t, then we can ask it to run a polyfill script.

What will you do with that knowledge?
-Apply Modernizr and polyfills to make sure my elements are displaying as I expect them to for all browsers.

Now that we’ve had our third session, what do you want to know?
    – Now that I know we can embed a lot of cool information into the website just for ‘the web’ to read, I wonder how we can use that for data mining… Or on the flip side, for search engine optimization or marketing.

What could we have done better?
    -Really enjoyed this class!
