What did you think was the most valuable thing that happened for you tonight? “Callbacks” is new and interesting as I have seen this in code but was confused about the notation. Also fun seeing all the JQuery methods that makes coding easier to do.

•What did you think was the most valuable thing that happened for you tonight?
it was interesting to learn the third session of jquery after attending the third session of javascript class ie, two different ways of doing the same idea.
•What did you learn from that?
manipulation category, hide & show, slide down with examples were self explanatory.

    Questions?
•Now that we’ve had our third session, what do you want to know?
All what we have learned is self-explanatory and it was good
•What could we have done better?
if we do examples in class (live examples in class) or make us do as you go along , will do good.

Tonight, i got a great insight into JQuery concepts like JSON notation and object literals in JQuery, call back functions, wrap and unwrap functionalities and also on implementing some UI effects in JQuery like hide, show, slideDown, slideUp etc and a basic understanding of drag and drop API in JQuery. It was very informative and great material with live examples.

What did you think was the most valuable thing that happened for you tonight?
    – learn how to use jQuery effects elements.
What did you learn from that?
    – show/hide
    -slide
    – animate
    – css()
    – dimensions
What will you do with that knowledge?
    – use them to design next web project / some kind of mini online game

What did you think was the most valuable thing that happened for you tonight? Immediately – Object Literal Syntax; probably most important in the future – callbacks
What did you learn from that? I appreciate that object literals’s are a more concise way to pass parameters. I don’t yet fully grasp the impact and use of callbacks but I understand enough to know that they will be useful in the future.
What will you do with that knowledge? Continue learning and about call backs and practice using object literals instead of lengthy code.
